Dark Wolf Pictures proudly presents their first narrative short titled To Kill A Secret, starring Mark Taylor, Glenn Cashin, Emidio Lopes, Jamal Pink and Melissa Cultraro.

The film made its Canadian film festival debut at the 2019 Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal, Quebec. To date, To Kill A Secret has garnered a total of 8 official selections, 11 awards and 2 nominations in the festival circuit.

Glenn Cashin

“The audition process was great. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I walk into this room and of course, there’s the panel, and I’m just wondering how this is going to go. It was an incredible experience. I knew right away this was something I wanted to be a part of.”

Melissa Cultraro

“When I got the news of being casted as Lea, there was a gap between the audition and getting the news, so I was a little bit shocked when they told me. But I was excited. I was curious. I didn't know what to expect but it went beyond all my expectations.”

Emidio Lopes

"The cast - I met everybody and right there and then, everyone's energy was just... there. Egos were set to the side. Everyone was friendly, warm, and you knew right away the chemistry was going to work."

Mark Taylor

"Jevon [the director] really allowed us to give input and he allowed us to express ourselves. He guided it where he needed to guide it if he felt like it was going in a direction where he needed to adjust it, but it really felt free. It was a collaborative experience but at the same time he kept it within his structure.”

Jamal Pink

“My favourite part was the relationships that I have built and getting to meet so many people that I hope to keep talking to, keep working with, and keeping that relationship throughout the future.”

Director's Statement

"Making this film has been a dream come true. It was something I have been working towards since 2016. Working with this team again after Stripped (2018) was exciting. I do not plan to stop here. I plan to expand the story into a feature. I really want to dive into the nature of these characters. The concept of To Kill A Secret is something I’ve always wanted to explore. I wanted to write something where I could put parts of myself in multiple characters.

In the film, the relationships between life-long friends are tested when they are stuck in a dire situation that seems almost impossible to get out of. As a director, I think it is important that we tell stories we feel most connected to and continue to make innovative, unique content for our movie going audience."
